CELL ossia un "acetato" disegno fatto e dipinto con colori acrilici su foglio di plastica trasparente per le animazioni tradizionali. Si disegna su un lato e si colora al rovescio sull'altro lato, in negativo usando un tavolo luminoso come supporto. E' una tecnica manuale molto delicata e lenta perchè bisogna aspettare che si asciughi ogni zona prima di dipingere quella accanto e bisogna colorare prima le ombre e poi le luci.
Sono stata colorista di cartoni animati durante il liceo Artistico presso alcuni studios di Roma e questo è uno dei miei lavori personali fatti coi colori avanzati a casa. |
